FMP Steel Buildings & Construction is licensed as a general contractor in the state of Colorado. We are able to take your job into our hands and complete it. We also have in-house architects that can help if you need drawings done or to review existing plans. They can also just provide a recommendations on what floor you should install. FMP is an authorized sales office for CECO Building Systems, meaning we can just sell you a building and then you can take on the rest of the project. We can make recommendations or oversee erecting crews in Colorado and in neighboring states.
FMP Steel Buildings & Construction has a central office that is conveniently located in the Denver metro area. We are located at 2727 Bryant Street, Suite 610, Denver, CO 80211. We are one block west of I-25 on Speer Boulevard, behind the Shell Gas Station. You are welcome to set an appointment if you would like to meet us or have questions you’d like to ask in person. What sets us apart is our customer service and experience! The team in our office has a combined 70 years of experience in steel building sales and construction. Whether you are looking for someone to buy a building from, or someone to complete a 100,000 square foot construction project, we have the necessary experience to do the job! We also pride ourselves on making sure our customers are happy from day one, all the way to the day they get their certificate of occupancy for their new building. We have a strict “no games, no gimmicks” sales policy that ensures that our clients are not taken advantage of, which, unfortunately is very common in this industry. Customers are able to find examples of the work we have done throughout our website and on our “featured customer projects” page. We have work all over the state of Colorado, so our recommendation is to call us and see if we have a building in your area that you could go look at in person. We can contact the owners of the building and make sure that you are able to get to it and won’t be bothering or disrupting anything by doing so.
As general contractors, FMP Steel Buildings & Construction focuses on Colorado as our work area. The job size with determine how far we will travel. As a steel building sales office, we will ship buildings anywhere in the United States. We have factories in Utah and Texas that have no issues shipping product to Maine or Oregon and all the states in between.
We can work either way, where the owner pulls the permits, then we get to work or we will pull the permits for the owner.
Yes. We are happy to sell you a steel building if you are wanting to take care of the rest by yourself. We also have many erector crews we have access to if you need their help with putting your building up.
Yes, we STRONGLY encourage you to contact our office with any issues before going directly to manufacturers, engineers, etc. Many times FMP will be able to solve the issues quicker than the manufacturer just because of the volume that the manufacturer experiences on a daily basis. Even if we do need to move the questions/concerns to the manufacturer or engineer, we have been dealing with these companies for years and still recommend you let us get in contact with them to ensure that you are assisted in a quick and efficient manner.
Pre-engineered steel buildings are as customizable as any type of construction. We have done buildings that were finished on the interior to be homes, we have made log cabins out of steel. Bring us your ideas and we will have someone walk through what we believe are the best avenues to go down to complete it.
The majority of our buildings will come out of Houston, Texas or Lubbock, Texas. This allows us to ship anywhere in the United States because Texas is such a large hub for manufacturing.
Every building is different because snow loads, wind loads, etc. vary across every city, state and county. In general, we tell people to expect about $30/square foot for a building. This includes the building, erection and the concrete foundation. We always encourage people to call to get a more accurate price for your location.
